Arte&Arte annuncia la pubblicazione del bando di concorso per la selezione dei 54 minitessili\u00a0 della 29^ edizione di MINIARTEXTIL 2019, che si terr\u00e0 nell\u2019ex Chiesa di San Francesco a Como dal 28 settembre al 17 novembre 2019. Invitiamo gli artisti a elaborare un\u2019opera partendo dal tema della nuova edizione, POP UP.<\/p>\n

Gentile Artista,
\nnel 2019 l\u2019associazione Arte&Arte organizza la 29^ edizione di Miniartextil, rassegna di fiber art contemporanea conosciuta a livello internazionale. La mostra si svolger\u00e0 a Como, alla ex Chiesa di San Francesco, da sabato 28 settembre a domenica 17 novembre 2019, per poi proseguire nel suo percorso itinerante nelle sedi estere.<\/p>\n

REGOLAMENTO<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Scopo della manifestazione \u00e8 promuovere e divulgare la fiber art, come mezzo espressivo dell\u2019arte contemporanea, evidenziandone tecniche e metodi di realizzazione.<\/li>\n
  2. Tema di Miniartextil Como 2019 sar\u00e0 POP UP. Pop up non \u00e8 solo quella finestra cui siamo abituati, che si apre a descrivere un dettaglio di testo. Che salta fuori e amplia per connettere e disconnettere, come in un\u2019attivit\u00e0 estenuante di sinapsi tra cellule nervose virtuali. Pop up \u00e8 anche crocevia e contaminazione. Crossover che nell\u2019arte pu\u00f2 essere varcato, proposto, attraversato dai diversi media che s\u2019intersecano anche alle trame del tessile realizzando la pluralit\u00e0 linguistica. Il pop up \u00e8 anche analogico, meccanico e fisico, come il libro per bambini con le informazioni ritagliate, elemento bi poi tridimensionale da cui ne scaturisce un altro sorprendente, che all\u2019improvviso compare e diventa altro, come nelle manipolazioni dei magician. Un\u2019invenzione che ha quasi 800 anni, rivitalizzata, non \u00e8 invecchiata come l\u2019effetto interattivo che era alle origini del web, con la sua rapidissima obsolescenza anche grafica. Pop up \u00e8 diventato effetto interruzione, finestra pubblicitaria ormai troppo prevedibile, da bypassare, percezione virale da eliminare rapidamente a colpi di mouse. E\u2019 un malware contaminante che deconcentra, corrompe l\u2019ambiente di pensiero e l\u2019individuo pensante o una possibile architettura narrante delle meraviglie, di carta, filamenti, colori, forme? Di certo \u00e8 l\u2019improvvisa apertura di una finestra, attraverso cui ci si pu\u00f2 affacciare a una diversa prospettiva. Cosa \u00e8 successo? Un miracolo: dal nulla, la possibilit\u00e0 del tutto.<\/li>\n
  3. L\u2019opera deve corrispondere alla seguente definizione: opera originale, realizzata a mano o dove la tecnica \u00e8 controllata dall\u2019artista, eseguita con materiali o tecniche tessili; pu\u00f2 essere bi o tridimensionale, e deve ispirarsi al tema indicato al punto 2). Le dimensioni del lavoro devono essere categoricamente 20x20x20 centimetri. E\u2019 vietato l\u2019utilizzo di passe partout. L’opera non \u00e8 da concepirsi appesa o sospesa a un supporto e non deve essere richiesto collegamento alla linea elettrica.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

        \nTutte le opere non selezionate in sede di giuria, saranno riviste e valutate attentamente dai membri di Arte&Arte. Alcune avranno una seconda occasione per essere scelte ed esposte a Como nell’ambito del progetto CULTURA DIFFUSA: per tutta la durata della mostra esporremo alcuni minitessili in negozi, sedi culturali e luoghi d’interesse, nel centro storico della citt\u00e0 di Como.<\/p>\n

        – Il Premio Montrouge scelto dal Sindaco e dal servizio culturale del Comune di Montrouge, seconda sede di Miniartextil, verr\u00e0 selezionato e annunciato nel mese di febbraio 2020 in occasione del vernissage di Miniartextil a Montrouge.<\/p>\n

        6. Le opere selezionate dovranno essere inviate entro il 31 maggio 2019 (fa fede il timbro postale), senza che gli organizzatori debbano pagare tasse doganali (si consiglia di spedire l’opera come campione tessile inviato senza scopo di vendita, e<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

          10.Nell\u2019ambito dell\u2019attivit\u00e0 di promozione e comunicazione della manifestazione, l\u2019organizzazione si riserva il diritto di utilizzare immagini, curriculum e altre note del dossier dell\u2019artista, in rapporto alle esigenze del catalogo, del materiale informativo e pubblicitario, del sito internet, dei social network e della divulgazione alla stampa e ai mass media. Accettando il presente regolamento, l\u2019artista libera integralmente le immagini della sua opera da diritti d\u2019autore, acconsentendo al loro utilizzo per gli usi sopra citati.<\/p>\n

          I file degli artisti selezionati e non selezionati rimarranno negli archivi di Miniartextil.<\/p>\n

          11.Durante lo svolgimento della mostra l\u2019associazione non \u00e8 responsabile di riproduzioni fotografiche eseguite dal pubblico.<\/p>\n

          1. Nell\u2019eventualit\u00e0 di un accordo con altre istituzioni, nazionali o internazionali, ogni artista concede il proprio benestare per esporre la sua opera in altre sedi. L\u2019organizzazione informer\u00e0 immediatamente gli artisti interessati.<\/li>\n

            Dear Artist,
            \nArte&Arte is organising the 29th edition of Miniartextil, an internationally renowned exhibition of contemporary fiber art. The exhibition will be held in Como, at the former church of San Francesco, and in the former church of San Pietro in Atrio from Saturday 28th September to Sunday 17th November 2019.<\/p>\n

            THE RULES<\/p>\n

              \n
            1. The aim of the exhibition is to advance and spread awareness of fibre art as a contemporary art form, illustrating the techniques and methods it employs.<\/li>\n
            2. The subject of Miniartexil Como 2019 will be POP UP. A pop up is not just a window that opens up to give extra detail on the text. Something that appears to extend, to connect and disconnect, like the build-up and fading of synapses between virtual nerve cells. Pop up is also a crossroads and an exchange, a crossover that may in art be between diverse media that intersect, like the web and woof of fabric in a plurality of languages. Pop up is also analogical, mechanical and physical, like a children\u2019s book with cut-out information in two or in three dimensions from which may spring another surprising dimension, appearing and becoming something else, as with the magician\u2019s conjuring trick. It is an invention that is almost eight hundred years old, revitalised, ageless, like the interactivity at the origin of the worldwide web, with its rapid graphic obsolescence.Pop up has become an interruption, a by now all too predictable advertising window, something to by-pass, a viral perception to get rid of as fast as possible with a mouse click. Is it destructive, malware that interferes with concentration, corrupts the thought environment and the thinking individual, or is it a possible narrative architecture of wonder, of paper, of colours and of shapes? Certainly it is the sudden opening of a window, that can be looked at or through with a different perspective. What has happened here? A miracle: from nothing to every possibility.<\/li>\n
            3. The following rules apply to the works: they must be original, handmade or made using a technique controlled by the artist, involving the use of textile materials or methods; it may be two or three-dimensional, and its subject shall be that indicated at 2 above).The size of the work must be 20x20x20 centimetres. The use of passe partout is not permitted. The work should not be made to be hung or supported by a frame and should not require electrical connections.<\/li>\n
            4. Participation is subject to selection of the work of art by a board of judges appointed by the cultural association Arte&Arte which will meet in April 2019<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Some of them will have a second chance to be selected and exhibited in Como, in the frame of the project CULTURA DIFFUSA: for the whole duration of the exhibition some artworks will be exhibited in shops, cultural venues, schools, and interesting sites in Como city centre.<\/p>\n

                  – The Montrouge Prize selected by the Mayor and the culture office of the Municipality of Montrouge, the second location for the Miniartextil exhibition, and announced in February 2020 at the vernissage of Miniartextil at Montrouge.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

                  1. The selected works must be sent in by 31st May 2019 (the stamp date counts), without the organisers having to pay customs duties (you are advised to send the work as textile sample sent not for sale and declare a customs value of only 5 \u20ac). If the works are subject to postal, customs or similar charges, reimbursement will be requested for costs incurred.Works should be sent to: ARTE&ARTE \u2013 Associazone culturale, Via Pannilani 23 \u2013 22100 \u2013 COMO \u2013 ITALY<\/li>\n
                  2. The exhibition organisation alone is responsible for the choice of space reserved for each work in the context of the general staging of the event<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

                    1. The Organisation is responsible for:
                      \nThe provision of exhibition halls
                      \nThe custody of works and information given during the exhibition The unpacking and the packaging of the works
                      \nThe insurance of works during the exhibitionThe fitting out of the exhibitionAny photographs of works selected for catalogue publication Advertising (posters, invitations, signs, press releases, television) Catalogue publication
                      \nThe sending back of the works<\/li>\n
                    2. The selected Artists shall be responsible for:
                      \nShipping the works to Como, with the required insurance.<\/li>\n
                    3. In the area of promotion and advertising of the exhibition, the organisation reserves the right to use images, curriculum vitae and other notes from artists’ dossiers for catalogue needs, for the dissemination of information and advertising, for its website, on social networks and in the press and mass media. By accepting these rules, the artists grants full release of images of their work from copyright, permitting their use for the above purposes.The dossiers of selected and non-selected artists shall be kept in the archives of Miniartextil.<\/li>\n
                    4. During the exhibition, the association shall not be responsible for photographs of works taken by the public.<\/li>\n
                    5. If agreements are made with other institutions, whether national or international, each artist gives permission for their work to be exhibited in other places. The organisation shall immediately inform the artists concerned.<\/li>\n
                    6. Participation is subject to acceptance of the Rules (in their entirety and without reserve) and the instructions contained within them. Signing the enclosed application form amounts to acceptance of these rules.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
